The itinerary includes a visit to a central area of Milan, located between the Castello Sforzesco and the Duomo square that shelters the remains of Imperial city and several churches considered architectural jewels among which the Chiesa di San Maurizio. The church, also known as Milan’s Sistine Chapel for the richness and beauty of its pictorial cycles, is entirely covered in frescoes realized by some among the best of Leonardo da Vinci’s pupils. For centuries, it remained the exclusive use of the adjacent female cloistered convent of the Benedictines.
